Great Shoe - Great shoe, the best looking of all the MBTs since the grey/white split sole doesn’t look so ‘Frankensteinish’. Very comfortable. Be sure to spary them at least 3 times with suede spray, they get dirty very quickly, I wish they were leather instead of suede so they would stay cleaner. No arch support and they recommend that you not put orthotics in but they are fairly supportive otherwise and I have flat feet.
I Love these Shoes. I had to return the first pair because they were to small, so be sure and order a full size larger. MBT Wave Shoes, Swiss Masai Sneakers. They are easy to get use too and they have helped to lessen some of my lower pain. I am ordering a pair for my daughter for Christmas.
I love the feel of the sole, and was looking forward to wearing them. But the fit was rather strange- uncomfortably tight across the ball of the foot, yet far too loose in the heel, although the length felt true to size. They fit like they are made on a man’s last, then labeled with the smaller women’s size (I thought shoe manufacturers figured out years ago that this wouldn’t work, yet I see that on some of the other MBT styles they list the larger sizes with a men/women conversion). I’m returning this shoe, but will try another style or two to see if the problem is with the style or the maker.
Love My New MBT Shoes! I had thought about buying a pair of MBT’s for a while, and just went for it. I love them! I can already feel a different in the musculature of my calves and a relief in the joint pain I had been suffering (all gone now). They are expensive, but I truly think they are worth it. When it warms up again I plan on buying the sandals, as well.
A new walking experience - I really enjoy walking in these shoes - you do feel like you are floating. When you first put them on, you feel off balance and strange, but my body quickly adjusted and now they feel normal. I showed them to my chiropractor and he is now interested in getting a pair. I will probably buy another pair when these wear out. They are well worth the cost, as I stand taller and my feet are not tired after a long day.
MBT Wave Elvis’ Blue Suede shoes! Can’t say enough about them. They are the most comfortable and stylish of all the MBTs (I have 9 pairs). Perfect for jeans and knocking around town. I wear the Sport Highs for workouts.
Liked them very much, I do have a back problem and at the end of the day, I don’t feel as tired as with other shoes, the day after I don’t feel the usual lower back pain and soreness of a previous hard day. I’m walking taller and straight. I do find them a bit heavy. Not a good thing for traveling light, especially nowadays.
Any thing less than 5 stars and I simply wouldn’t keep it. I have a bunion on my right foot so that is the reason why I marked it as full size smaller. But my left foot with no bunion agreed. These shoes run small; keep that in mind when ordering. The shoes are solid built which makes them somewhat heavy. These are no lightweight sneakers. The MBT Wave Sneakers are an absolute dream to walk in which is why I got them. I also got a pair for my husband. For the first time ever he comes home from Manhattan and his feet don’t ache. Even though these are pricy… you could spend this much money going to a foot doctor and he/she would recommend a shoe like this. We just saved ourselves a doctor bill.
Buy it - There’s no need to hesitate here. Since using the MBT Wave, my posture has improved dramatically (to the point where multiple people have noticed!) and my lower back pain, which used to plague me regularly, doesn’t bother me anymore. My muscles are stronger and more toned, most noticeably my abs, upper thighs and buttocks. It’s incredible to me that a shoe could have such an impact. It’s a bit awkward at first, but I got used to it quickly. I chose the Wave because it looked better than the others- less medical/orthopedic shoe- and I’m not disappointed. True, I’m not about to wear them “out,” but I do keep them on when running errands. They look just fine with jeans. Just buy them, use them and be grateful.
Coolest sneaker ever! I already owned the white MBT lows and I’ve been waiting for Zappos to pick up the line. I’m so thrilled you have it! This blue sneaker seems to be a little bit narrower than my white one, which is just fine. From the above it looks a bit more fitted; though it certainly doesn’t feel tight at all (my feet are of average width). These shoes provide a great leg and bum workout and you don’t realize it until you’ve taken them off. I wear them because they’re super comfy from day one and really great looking. Plus, there’s the bonus toning with the shoe…have yet to see results, but I can feel the workout…just have many layers of flab to get through!
